Twenty maintenance professionals represented Mills in the 2016 Maintenance Mania contest at BELFOR Property Restoration on November 3rd. The local Maintenance Mania competition is put on by the St. Louis Apartment Association. It is part of the larger Maintenance Mania national competition put on by the National Apartment Association.

On the day of the regional competition, participants compete in timed events performing various job-related tasks like faucet installation, ceiling fan installation, flush toilet conversion, water heater installation, and more. The final event is a race car competition, which actually starts days before the competition day, as they build their own individual toy race car, commonly referred to as a “Pinewood Derby Car.” The cars are then raced and judged on competition day.
