Way to go, Mills!

.

Hard work pays off. Nice job, Mills. I wish I could have been there to celebrate with you all.

David Mount

It seems that those who judge the IREM “competition” either haven’t visited 5540 Pershing here in St. Louis, or that Mills Properties is the only company in the competition.
I’m embarrassed to bring ANYONE to this location because of how the public areas inside the building look. It seems that like “one can’t judge a book by its cover”, similarly, “one can’t judge an apartment by its landscaping and fancy leasing offices”!

We really want to thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. I recognize it has taken more than a fair share of time to address the physical condition of 5540. There is no reasonable answer as to why it has taken so long. And, we admit is below the level of expectation that anyone could/would/should live with.

That being said, colors are being picked for the carpet, paint and elevators as I type this comment. Ownership has agreed to address each of the three areas in an effort to enhance the look and feel of the buildings. Measurements have been taken and you should see the work begin in the coming ten days.

Please feel free to give us feedback along the way.

Thank you again, we do appreciate it.

We are SUPER excited about the upcoming renovations that will take place in 5540!! Woo-Hoo!!!

I agree with David Mount, I live in Versailles Apartments. We have broken, boarded up windows, ceiling leaks in apartments, and rodents running around on the 4th floor. The building is never cleaned and we have no maintenance man. And when we complain all we are told is owners have no money. I am looking for another apartment.

Randa,

Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. It is our goal to make sure that every resident enjoys and is proud to call Versailles Apartments home.

The broken window I believe you are referring to has been repaired for several weeks. If there is currently a broken window that needs repair within in the building, please feel free to contact the office and we will have it repaired immediately. We have experienced roof leak issues within four apartments. We are in constant contact with our roofers and they are working to make the necessary repairs. However, due to weather conditions, this process has proven to be a lengthy one, but nonetheless we are continuing to monitor and repair what we can. Each resident that was affected has been given the option to transfer. Our pest control vendor is currently working to resolve the Raccoon/Squirrel issue. They are working within and outside of the complex daily. The entire building is cleaned by a professional cleaning company once per week. We have 24-hour Emergency Maintenance service. A notice has been prepared and will be distributed to the entire building on Monday, January 31, 2011, announcing our new full-time maintenance man.

We are committed to properly maintaining this property, promptly responding to maintenance service requests and making sure that our residents are happy!

If you should have any additional questions, comments and/or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly at #314-867-1882.

Crystal,
The apartments leaks have been going on for a lot of years so it does not matter about weather. And you let people move but they have to pay to move with no help from management. And the building is not clean.

Brenda,

I really appreciate your feedback. We are continuing to address the roofing issues at Versailles. With each year a new set of maintenance issues can arise especially in older buildings. With our new Maintenance Techinician, we are dedicated to resolving these maintenance issues. If you have any specific problems in your apartment home, please let us know and we will take care of your concerns.

We certainly want you to be happy at Versailles. We are working hard to make this a great place to live.

Thank you again for your feedback,

This reminds me of a community in Daang Hari named Versailles but there are better and more beautiful luxury houses in the area of Vista Alabang like Portofino

Congratulations to the top developers!
