In a new monthly blog series brought to you by our fantastic HR team, Mills will be highlighting our awesome associates each month. Our first official winner of the On-Site Spotlight comes from Oak Park; Jeff Miliken has worked with Mills for almost 8 months as a Leasing Consultant.  Jeff was nominated by Lisa Zagoren for not only being an exceptional employee, but an exceptional person as well; he always has a smile on his face, ready to jump in and help his team in any way needed.

Most recently, Jeff went out of his way to assist the maintenance team by cleaning out units from previous residencies for new move-ins when they fell behind schedule.  His willingness to help out saved the property a significant amount of money in fees that would have been paid for a vendor to come in and perform the work.

Outside of work, you can find Jeff spending time with his nieces, hanging out at Buffalo Wild Wings on “Wing Tuesdays,” and having prank wars with this cousin.  He graduated from Lindenwood University with a degree in business management and psychology, and currently holds a second job at Dyverse Ink as a tattoo artist.  In January, Jeff may find himself with less time to participate in these extra activities, however; he will be welcoming his first child – a baby girl!
