Mills-A-Palooza: The annual Mills Properties company party, which includes food, fun, and most importantly, a huge group of amazing people getting together, having a fantastic time…and usually wearing crazy costumes.

Mills hosts a company party every year and it is always a good time! In 2012, we gave it the name Mills-A-Palooza, and with the name came some crazy fun parties that become harder to top each year. This year’s party took place at Dave & Buster’s; the perfect place for having fun with a large group. This year’s theme was #GameOn: a throwback to the old school Nintendo games. Game On is also one of Mills’ favorite motivational phrases to encourage each other to achieve goals, face challenges, inspire each other, and succeed. Our associates, as usual, went all out for Mills-A-Palooza 2016: #GameOn. We had a Donkey Kong team, several Pac Man teams, Princess Peach, Link from Zelda, Mario & Luigi, the Duck Hunt Dog, Nintendo Controllers, a Mario Kart team, and tons of creative shirts. From the costume madness to the delicious food, desserts and fun games provided by Dave & Buster’s, plus fantastic prizes including video game systems including the NES Retro Systems and a PS4, a 40″Samsung Smart TV, liquor cooler, Bluetooth speakers, Kindle, Apple Watch, and more; it’s going to be hard to top this one next year. And of course we can’t forget the 3rd Annual Millsy Awards!

In addition to the Millsy Awards, this year we recognized our associates with Service Awards. We have awesome associates; some have been with us for many years and some for only 1 year, and we hope they all have many more to come. The service awards recognize those who have hit the 1, 3, 5, 10, and…..35 year marks! Wow! Thanks to you all!

And our final award this year went to Best #GameOn Costume…and the winner is….CityView Kart! Way to rock the theme CityView Team! Congrats guys and we hope you enjoyed your Park Avenue coffee and cake!
